Lisa and I met because I answered an ad in Melody Maker and got the job of producing and recording her songs.
We had a couple of Revox reel to reels, A77 and B77, a Kelly valve mixing desk, Roland Guitar Synth, Korg MS20 and Eko synths and a Roland drum machine all networked via cv and gate.
We spent nine months writing and recording in her house in Parson's Green and then were joined by Carrie Booth on keyboards who went on to find fame with The Monochrome Set, The Thompson Twins and Shakespeare's Sister.
I have included four mp3s from that time in the early eighties.
